TIME IS RUNNING OUT

2.1 billion people lack access to safely managed drinking water services."Lack

Health Problems

Worldwide, 70% of health problems are related to unsanitary water. Unsanitary water is a top contributor to medical problems, even in developed countries.

OUR MODERN REALITY

The United States and much of the rest of the world face a serious water crisis. This broken system represents a serious threat to health and safety. Along with the water crisis comes a reality that there are an abundance of land sites that are polluted with toxic chemicals – toxic chemicals that leach into the water table. When people take a shower or use their sink, they assume their water is clean and safe. The terrible catastrophe in Flint, Michigan has taught us the difficult lesson that this is not always the case. Most people believe that water is abundant. Unfortunately, this is not the case. The United Nations expects demand for fresh water to outpace supply by more than 30% in 2040 with freshwater demand doubling every twenty years. We are on our way to a disastrous crisis unprecedented in history.

"Solving"Solving

In 2003, Frank Rijsberman, then the head of the international Water Management Institute stated: “If present trends continue, the livelihoods of one-third of the world’s population will be affected by water scarcity by 2025. We could be facing annual losses equivalent to the entire grain crops of India and the US combined.”Farmers worldwide are the main users of water—70 percent of withdrawals, more than 90 percent of actual consumption—and they will be the most affected parties in case of a massive water shortage. The secret is that there are a lot more polluted land sites than the public are aware, and it is only when a catastrophe like Piney Point, FL occurs that the land, the water table, the ground water and the ocean are all devastated by the impact.
